From October 9 to 17, a delegation led by President Peng Shuangjie visited Belgium, Germany, and the UK for a series of exchange events.
At the CERIS-ULB Diplomatic School of Brussels, Peng held a roundtable with Vice President Nicholas Williams, discussing potential collaborations in faculty and student exchanges, short-term internships with international organizations, and jointly hosting international conferences and workshops.

In a meeting with Luigi Gambardella, President of the ChinaEU Digital Association, Peng explored partnerships in digital education and AI policy research, and establishing a joint Digital Education Research Center.

During the Belgium visit, Peng also met with Liu Beijia and Peng Youbin, president and vice president of the European Alumni Association of ÍæÅ¼½ã½ã, respectively. The delegation visited the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) to introduce the "Study at ÍæÅ¼½ã½ã" program and reached a preliminary agreement on student exchange programs.


At the University of Glasgow, Peng Shuangjie and President Anton Muscatelli discussed prospects for new collaborative projects.



During a visit to the University of Dundee (UoD), Peng met with President Iain Gillespie and signed an MOU (memorandum of understanding) for cooperation. Gillespie, an honorary professor at ÍæÅ¼½ã½ã, reaffirmed his commitment to ÍæÅ¼½ã½ã's growth and expressed hopes for advancing Sino-British cultural exchange through joint efforts.


At University College London (UCL), Peng met with President Michael Spence and encouraged students enrolled in ÍæÅ¼½ã½ã's "Future Educators" program to deepen their expertise and promote Chinese culture.


In Berlin and London, ÍæÅ¼½ã½ã hosted colloquiums for high-level talents, where President Peng presented ÍæÅ¼½ã½ã's achievements in discipline construction, talent cultivation, and recruitment, inviting outstanding talents who are studying at German and British to join ÍæÅ¼½ã½ã's faculty after graduation.


During the visit, Peng also met with ambassadors, reporting on ÍæÅ¼½ã½ã's collaborations with European institutions.




Moving forward, ÍæÅ¼½ã½ã will uphold its commitment to openness and internationalized education, working closely with global partners to foster deeper collaboration.
