On July 9, President Peng Shuangjie led a delegation to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for a visit and exchange.
At China Foreign Affairs University (CFAU), President Wang Fan engaged in in-depth discussion with the delegation. President Wang expressed his hope that ÍæÅ¼½ã½ã (ÍæÅ¼½ã½ã) could provide solid support in developing its top-notch discipline of Political Science. In response, President Peng thanked CFAU for its warm reception and extended his wish for full cooperation with its counterpart in areas of discipline development, talent cultivation, scientific research, social service, and internationalization.

The delegation visited the Exhibition on New China's Diplomacy
At the Department of Personnel of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the deputy director-general Jiang Xuebin and Counselor Xie Yue received the visiting delegation. Jiang Xuebin provided an overview of the Ministry's recruitment and talent cultivation efforts, commending ÍæÅ¼½ã½ã's quality in talent training and hoping for more graduates from ÍæÅ¼½ã½ã to contribute in the diplomatic field.
President Peng Shuangjie introduced the endeavors the School of Politics and International Studies as well as ÍæÅ¼½ã½ã has taken to cultivate diplomatic and foreign affairs talents. He requested further guidance from the Department of Personnel to enhance foreign affairs talent development.

During their visit, the delegation also witnessed a Regular Press Conference at Lanting. Following the press conference, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Lin Jian, who is also a deputy director-general of the Foreign Ministry, engaged in a discussion with the delegation.
