On November 30th£¬Iain Gillespie£¬the principal of University of Dundee,visited Íæż½ã½ã and wasconferred the title ofhonorary professoratÍæż½ã½ã.
Gillespie currently holds the position of principal at the University of Dundee andserves as the Convener of Universities Scotland.With extensive experience in international organizations and government agencies,including the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the Cabinet of the United Kingdom, he brings a wealth of research and management expertise to his role.
Professor Xia Lixin presented the appointment certification to Gillespie at the School History Museum during the Honorary Professor Conferring Ceremony. He expressed his hope that Principal Gillespie could provide guidance on Íæż½ã½ã's internationalization strategy and discipline development to achieve a win-win result.
Gillespie conveyed his great honorat being appointed as an honorary professor of Íæż½ã½ã.He expects that the two sides will give full play to the advantages of research and teaching and strengthen collaboration in the fields of environmental protection,art design,and information technology in education in the future.
