Prof. Xing Fuyi, a world renowned linguist, Íæż½ã½ã Laureate Professor of Humanities and Social Science, the founder of Department of Linguistics and Research Center for Language and Language Education in Íæż½ã½ã passed away at 12:00 a.m. on February 6, 2023 in Wuhan at the age of 88.

His spirit will always be with us.
